Chapter Thirty-Six
Healthier S’mores Board
New Years Eve parties are usually a wonderful mixture of friends and family. Celebrating the year and the new one to come. These parties are usually a spread of different appetizers, meals, and desserts. And a charcuterie board fits perfectly in this spread. Especially one with better for you snacks- perfect for guests with dietary restrictions. This board is a mixture of some of my favorite sweet things, layered together to create the perfect S’mores board. But remember to feel free to customize based on you and/or your guests needs! The list below is a breakdown for anyone who needs some ideas.
Jovial Foods einkorn cookies are a perfect addition. The checkerboard cookies are an adorable aesthetic component but also happen to be low gluten index and have 3g of protein per serving.
The Skinny Dipped dark chocolate cocoa almonds deliver antioxidants, and a lovely crunch all while having only 4g of sugar per serving.
Pamelas Graham Crackers are absolutely lovely, they're delicious in all their honey flavor all while being gluten free.
Dandies marshmallows have all the wonderful chew and taste of a marshmallow while being vegan. And give you that perfect s’more bite.
Hu’s cashew butter chocolate is refined sugar free, with clean and simple ingredients, and it melts and tastes like an absolute dream.
Theo Chocolate’s snickerdoodle cookie bites are organic and fair trade. They’re a chewy, cookie-like addition to your board which is sure to please a crowd.
I got Whole Foods dark chocolate covered pretzels which you absolutely need in any dessert board, half sweet-half salty and all delicious.
Unreal is one of my favorite brands and their almond butter cups add a wonderful change for someone who wants something other than cashew chocolate for their s’more.
And last but not least I finished off with Driscoll's organic strawberries because you need some sweet fruit component, to balance this board! Feel free to add more fruits!
